EMP Protection
High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) has 3 components: E1 (beginning), E2 (middle), and E3 (end). E1 pulses, very sensitive to EMP, couple to all electronic equipment and cables. E2 pulses couple to equipment or cable over 10 m. E3 pulses can affect cables that transmit power, such as cables that are longer than 10 km. EMP protection products can protect valuable equipment from external EMPs.
